Cancellation policy

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occur, which may make it difficult to attend your scheduled appointment. We ask that you give us as much possible notice if you cannot attend or need to reschedule. 

Please find below our current cancellation policy. 

NDIS: 

The participant should provide Every Word Speech Pathology with at least 48 hours notice of the cancellation of any supports, as per the NDIS price guide. Cancellations outside of this window will incur the full fee. Where multiple cancellations or no shows occur in a 12-month period, Every Word Speech Pathology may need to notify the NDIA, as a review of the participant’s NDIS Plan may be required.

Private paying clients: 

The client should provide Every Word Speech Pathology with at least two days’ notice of the cancellation of any support. Cancellations outside of this window will incur a cancellation fee of $50. In the case of a no-show, a fee of $50 will be charged to the client. In the case of frequent cancellations or no-shows, Every Word Speech Pathology will contact the client to discuss an appropriate plan moving forward.

Where Every Word Speech Pathology cancels a support due to operational reasons, the service will be rescheduled at no penalty to either party.
